Native Texan Jim Beavers moved to Nashville in 1991 to pursue a career on the business side of music. His work experience prior to songwriting includes stints as Director of Marketing at Capitol Records, touring musical with Lee Ann Womack and as a college professor.
Since 2002, though, Beavers has focused primarily on songwriting. He has had dozens of songs recorded by artists such as Chris Stapleton, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley Tim McGraw, Hootie and the Blowfish, Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, Brooks & Dunn, Brad Paisley and Faith Hill to name a few. His compositions have received multiple CMA, ACM, BMI and NSAI nominations and awards. Beavers served as Chairman of the Country Music Association in 2022 and has written nine #1 songs.
Marv Green, a Southern California native, relocated to Nashville in March of 1993. His songwriting swiftly garnered attention, leading to a publishing deal with Big Tractor and Warner Chappell music, where he remains. Marv's extensive roster of artists who've recorded his songs spans from George Strait to Carrie Underwood, with notable hits including 'True' by George Strait and 'Amazed' by Lonestar. His achievements include the BMI Song of the Year Award for 'Amazed' in 2000, the ACM Song of the Year for the same in 2001, along with a Grammy nomination. With a string of number-one hits and prestigious awards to his name, Marv Green stands as a pillar in Nashville's songwriting community, leaving an indelible mark on country music.
