Today's Performer:

Andrea Vasquez:

Powerhouse vocals and unstoppable attitude combine in the petite package that is Andrea Vasquez. The Cali-native has blended her love of modern country and Latin-American roots to create a refreshing, unique sound while becoming a success story that future generations of aspiring country artists who share her Latino heritage will strive to emulate.

Andrea’s brand new single, Waste of Gas, made its world premiere on WSM Radio and was also on The Ty Bentli Show, on Apple Music. She has gained significant attention, earning features in Billboard, Music Row Magazine, Nashville Scene, Rolling Stone, The Washington Post, and more. She received the prestigious DISCovery Award from renowned music critic Robert K. Oermann and garnered strong support from CMT, with her music video for Moving Target landing in the Top 5 on CMT’s 12 Pack Countdown for 3 weeks. With national and international airplay in Australia, Europe, Ireland, London, Switzerland, and the U.K., her “Country with a Tajin” trademark is accurate as she released her first bi-lingual song Solo last year and partnered with Latin artist Jimencio to pay tribute to their Mexican roots with Si Una Vez, a signature song which was originally recorded by Selena.

Andrea’s songs surpassed half a million streams just on Spotify and have landing on curated Spotify and Apple Music playlists. She is also a member of the Song Suffragettes, the only all-female country music singer-songwriter weekly show in Nashville. Andrea was Best Country Music Artist runner-up for 2 years in a row at the Best Of Nashville Awards and was also awarded Top 3 Best Nashville Singer-Songwriter.
