Kimberly Kelly:

With a signature style, sound, and personality all her own, Lorena, Texas native Kimberly Kelly is stepping back up to the mic with something to say—and this time, she’s celebrating the hardworking women everywhere who are doing their best to do it all.

Her upcoming sophomore album, Modern Day Woman, is an honest, relatable, and uplifting tribute to the balancing act women take on every day as they work to hold everything and everyone together. Produced by her hit songwriter husband, Brett Tyler, the album features eight songs Kelly co-wrote with some of Nashville’s finest songwriters. The songs are guaranteed to make you laugh, tear up, and maybe even see the women in your life through a new lens of awe, love, and gratitude.

A proud torch carrier for neo-traditional country music, Kelly has already had plenty of standout moments throughout her career. She was mentored by legendary outlaw Billy Joe Shaver, received an endorsement from the late Toby Keith, made her Grand Ole Opry debut, was named one of CMT’s Next Women of Country, and has shared the stage with artists including Tracy Lawrence, Clay Walker, and Luke Combs.

Now, Kelly is taking the spirit of Modern Day Woman beyond the music with Blue Jean Country Queen: Life Happens, Then We Write It, a new residency at The Listening Room in Nashville. As host, Kelly brings women together to share the real-life stories, humor, heartbreak, and experiences that inspire great country songs. The intimate evening celebrates both the women behind the stories and the songwriters who turn those experiences into music.

The Blue Jean Country Queen brand will also expand into a new podcast launching in October, giving Kelly another platform to explore the stories, conversations, and music behind the lives of real women.
