Imagine an act pairing the clear voice of Alison Krauss, some wit and depth akin to John Prine or Tom Waits, and the swagger of Bonnie Raitt, you’d be in the ballpark of Scarlett.
As the daughter of musicians, she grew up touring the Country bars and festivals of Europe, occasionally backing up and opening for Paul Overstreet, Brent Mason, Daryl Singletary, Asleep at the Wheel, Toby Keith, Albert Lee and Chely Wright.
She went on to get a Jazz vocal degree in Saarbrücken, Germany, and settled in Nashville, Tennessee in 2015. She can be found there playing the local stages such as the Listening Room or Bluebird Cafe or touring the country with Billy Prine, brother of the late genius, John.
The genre fluid Fräulein has developed an authentic Americana sound that stretches between Country, Folk, Rock, Blues, and Jazz. Scarlett’s songs are heartfelt, existential, quirky, and typically catch you off guard at some point. Unexpected is her specialty. A natural entertainer, she will grab your attention with grace, warmth and humor.
