Matt McKinney:

Born in Augusta, Georgia, singer-songwriter Matt McKinney was surrounded by music at a young age. Having gospel-inspiring parents, siblings in black metal and punk groups, and hearing the sounds of a choir every Sunday, after graduating from the University of Georgia, McKinney headed to Nashville where his career in country music officially began.

Landing a publishing deal at Sony music publishing Nashville, McKinney collaborated in the song-creation(s) for artists such as Elle King, Jordan Davis, Tim McGraw, Jon Pardi, Jimmie Allen, Ella Langley, Jordan and 2X platinum single with Trey Lewis.

Ben Roberts:

Ben Roberts is a songwriter, singer, and performer best known as a founding member of the alt-country band, Carolina Story. He was born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas where he began playing the guitar and writing his own songs in his early teens. With a passion for storytelling and a unique voice that blends traditional country with elements of folk, rock, and Americana, Roberts has established himself as a lasting and innovative presence in the Country and Americana genres. On top of writing the bulk of Carolina Story’s material, his songwriting credits include cuts by Sam Williams, Jared & The Mill, Colby Acuff, among others. His songs have been heard across the TV/Film landscape including placements on Nashville, The Ranch, Hart of Dixie, PBS, The Equalizer, and many more. Roberts has collaborated with award winning artists, producers, and renowned songwriters since moving to Nashville in 2010. After writing for Black River Publishing, he signed on with Missi Gallimore’s Truth or Dare Publishing, a joint venture with Warner-Chappell.
