
Tony Lane hails from the great state of Texas. Born in the small town of Comanche, he cut his teeth playing the bars of Dallas and Ft. Worth. He eventually found his way to Nashville, Tennessee and to Famous Music, where he signed his first publishing deal. Tony experienced his first commercial success with Lee Ann Womack’s “Little Past Little Rock”, which hit number one on the Billboard charts. This hit was followed by many others, including George Strait’s “Run”, Tim McGraw’s “I Need You”, John Michael Montgomery’s “Letters from Home”, Lady A’s “Hello World”, Trace Adkins’ “This Ain’t No Love Song” and “I Wanna Feel Something”, and Easton Corbin’s “Roll with It”. “On My Way to You”, was recorded by fellow Texan Cody Johnson, as well as a Top 5 song for Cody - “Human.” And he just had his most recent #1 with “One Bad Habit” for Tim McGraw. Tony received a Grammy nomination for Best Country Song for “I Need You”, which featured a duet with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
Tony continues to write extensively with the Nashville songwriting community. He has enjoyed recent cuts by Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, and Chris Jansen.
SONY songwriter Matthew J. Rogers has written for some of country music’s premiere superstars, scoring two No. 1 hits in 2022 with Jimmie Allen’s “Freedom Was a Highway,” and “‘Til You Can’t” by Cody Johnson, which earned a Grammy Award for “Country Song of the Year,” as well as a CMA “Single of the Year.” Rogers has also topped the charts with singles by Brett Eldredge (“The Long Way”) and Randy Houser (“We Went”), and has landed four No.1 singles on Canadian country radio.
Since moving to Nashville in 2006, Rogers has built a catalog of songs that’ve been recorded by Luke Bryan, Dustin Lynch, Darius Rucker, Justin Moore, Chris Young, Dylan Scott, Matt Stell, Mitchell Tenpenny, Lainey Wilson, Randall King, and Chris Janson.
